1-SCOPE

This specification covers three core armoured cables conforming to IEC 60502-2 Specifications.
 

2. CONSTRUCTION

2.1 Conductor

Aluminum conductors, conforming to the applicable requirements of IEC 60228.
 

2.2 Insulation

Extruded inner semi conductive layer, XLPE insulation and  extruded outer semi conductive layer .

 

2.3 Metallic Screen Layer

Copper tape on each core

 

2.4 Separation Sheath

PVC .

 

2.5 Armour

GALVANIZED STEEL WIRES .

3. TESTS

All tests required by IEC 60502-2 either on Raw material or on finished products.

TEST AT WORKS according to IEC 60502-2 for armored cables

Routine Tests

 -          Max. DC conductors resistance at 20°C acc. to IEC 60228 & IEC 60502-2 parag.16.1 & 16.2

 -          High voltage test acc. to IEC 60502-2  parag. 16.1 & 16.4

 -          Max. partial discharge test  at 1.73 Uo acc. to IEC 60502-2  parag.16.1 & 16.3

Liban Cables will carry out these tests on all the lengths and tests certificates will be provided.
