This specification covers three cores armoured cables, generally to BS 6622 Specifications.

2.1 Conductor

Plain, annealed electrolytic copper conductors, circular stranded,conforming to the applicable requirements of IEC 60228.

2.2 Insulation

Extruded inner semi conductive layer, XLPE insulation and  extruded outer semi conductive layer .

2.3 Metallic Screen Layer

Copper tape on each core

2.4 Separation Sheath

PVC .

2.5 Armour

GALVANIZED STEEL WIRES .

TEST AT WORKS BS 6622

Routine Tests

- Max. DC conductors resistance at 20°C acc. to BS 6622  parag. 17.3                                                                

- Voltage test acc. to BS 6622  parag. 17.6                                                                     

- Max. partial discharge test acc. to BS 6622  parag. 17.5                                                                       

                                                                                   

Liban Cables will carry out these tests on all the lengths and tests certificates will be provided .
